A Cabin Conversation is a private, one-on-one virtual visit for adults seeking thoughtful listening, perspective, encouragement, practical guidance, or help untangling a difficult question.
You may bring a relationship concern, grief, parenting struggle, spiritual question, career crossroads, business idea, creative project, major life transition—or simply something you need to say aloud without frightening or burdening someone close to you.
I may offer questions, observations, ideas, and wisdom gathered through study, work, and lived experience. When advice is not what you need, I can simply listen.
Your private Doxy.me link will be emailed and texted to the contact information on file approximately 24 hours before your appointment.
Please enter the virtual waiting room at least five minutes early. A video appointment is 60 minutes total from its scheduled beginning to its end. Arriving late reduces the time available.
Choose the available date and time by which you would like to receive your response. This is a response deadline, not a live meeting time.
The "5 minute" scheduling time is administrative for scheduling purposes and has no impact on the actual amount of time spent reading or responding to you message.
Submit your story or question through the private scheduling form. I will spend up to one hour reading, reflecting, and writing my response.
A written visit includes one submission and one response. Continued correspondence requires another appointment unless I explicitly approve a brief clarification.
Scheduling, records, and payment are processed through my established healthcare practice, The Treatment Place/TRMTplace. That name may appear in appointment messages, receipts, or on your card statement even when you booked through Baba Yaga’s Cabin.
I am an Oregon Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in medical massage and trauma-recovery work involving both physical and emotional experiences.
For more than seven years, I have provided over 8,000 hours of direct care to more than 2,000 individuals. My continuing education has included PTSD training through the Returning Veterans Project, trauma-informed touch, complex trauma, chronic pain, autoimmune conditions, nervous-system responses, and professional boundaries.
I am a single mother of 4, grandmother of 2, plus 20 or more kids who call me mom. I am a writer on the side. All of this fills the majority of my daily life.

No. I am not a licensed mental-health therapist, psychologist, or professional counselor in any state or country.
Cabin Conversations are non-clinical mentoring and reflective support. They do not include psychotherapy, diagnosis, mental-health treatment, medical advice, or crisis care.
I will offer honest thoughts, questions, possible interpretations, and practical ideas when they may help. I will not pretend to possess the one correct answer for your life or take responsibility for your decisions.
I can help you examine the map. You choose the path.
Then you may vent.
You do not have to turn every conversation into a lesson, plan, or breakthrough. You may cry, be angry, admit contradictory feelings, laugh at something painfully absurd, or simply say what has been building inside you.
Your story cannot scare the witch of the woods.
Your information will be treated respectfully and protected using reasonable safeguards. Scheduling and records are maintained through a HIPAA-enabled Acuity account, and video visits are held through Doxy.me under a Business Associate Agreement.
However, absolute confidentiality cannot be promised. I am a mandatory reporter and may be required to act when I reasonably suspect legally reportable abuse, neglect, or a credible immediate danger. Records may also have to be disclosed in response to a valid legal requirement.
No video or audio recording is retained.
Doxy.me may create a written transcript in real time. The transcript may be reviewed, corrected, summarized, and stored in your private Acuity appointment record for notes and continuity between visits. You will be asked to consent to transcription when booking the session.
You may request a copy of your retained transcript and session notes.
Please place your original question and any additional booked questions in the secure scheduling form whenever possible.
Ordinary email carries greater privacy risk. Email may be used to deliver a written response or handle simple administrative matters, but it should not be treated as perfectly confidential.

You do not need to be religious, spiritual, pagan, Christian, witchy, or certain of anything. You are welcome to disagree with me.
The Cabin asks only for honest conversation, mutual respect, and a willingness to consider what may be useful.
You’re welcome to ask about services, scheduling, or whether a session may be a good fit for your needs. This form is for brief practical questions only and is not a substitute for a booked appointment, personal guidance, or email-session support.
